This is a wonderful Cat D4 Crawler, fitted with a cab and originally supplied by Leverton Engineers. The cab is in excellent shape featuring two sliding doors and all the glass is present.
 
It uses a two-cylinder petrol donkey engine to start the four-cylinder diesel engine. The donkey engine starts easily and runs very well starting the diesel engine easily, both engines are free from any frost damage and any mixing of fluids, they are rated at 50 hp on the drawbar.
 
It is in outstanding original condition, the tracks are in excellent condition, as are all the sprockets.
 
The steering clutches and brakes are excellent and work perfectly and the hand clutch works very well.
 
It features a front-mounted hydraulic pump with two spool valves on the rear. 
 
I have had the pleasure of driving this Crawler around our yard and can confirm it’s a lot of fun! It would be super on a working day, easily pulling a larger plough - as seen in the listing, which is available to purchase separately.
