CASE 500 Diesel
*Now Sold*
The Case 500 was built between 1953 and 1957 and with less than 6,000 tractors produced this is certainly one of the rarer Case models that could be found today.
The 6-cylinder tractor was the first diesel variant to be produced by Case.
It was rated at 55hp on the pulley and PTO and features the same 4-speed gearbox as utilised by the Case LA. It is also fitted with PTO and 2 banks of spool valves.
This is a very genuine example of this early Case. It is an excellent starter from cold, it runs very well and is smooth to drive.
It drives well in all gears and the smooth 6-cylinder engine pulls very well.
The tin work is in excellent original condition and would make an excellent 'oily rag' restoration
