Fordson Power Major

This is a stunning example of the Fordson Power Major. Probably one of the straightest and most original examples we’ve seen.
 
The tin work throughout is in perfect shape, with no rust in the wings or nose cone and displays a lovely patina. 
The 4-cylinder diesel engine starts instantly and runs very well. It also features ‘Live Drive’ which allows drive to the hydraulics and PTO independently of the transmission. 
 
This Fordson also features some really special options including power steering which makes the steering much lighter than a standard tractor. It is fitted with an auxiliary spool valve, giving an independent oil supply to implements, this option alone is rare today. 
 
Finally, it's also fitted with heavy-duty lower link brackets, which I have only seen on a handful of tractors in the past!
 
Out on the road, the tractor performs faultlessly, it pulls well with the distinctive ‘Major bark’, all the gears select fine, and the brakes perform well.
 
Overall, if you are looking for a really nice, original tractor then this would be for you!
