Farmall A
Tamar Vintage Tractors - Farmall A
*NOW SOLD*
The Farmall A is a small one-plough rowcrop tractor, produced by International Harvester under the Farmall brand from 1939 to 1947. The tractor was popular for its set of innovative features in a small, affordable implement. It succeeded the Farmall F-14.
This tractor has been sat in a barn for many years and has recently been recommissioned by Tamar Vintage Tractors.
We have had the Magneto fully serviced, cleaned the fuel system through and it’s now a very good runner!
It’s a straight petrol tractor that is started on the handle, it starts up easily and pulls very well in all gears.
The engine is free from any frost damage, and it holds good oil pressure.
It’s an interesting tractor to drive as it features an offset driving position, which would have given excellent visibility when working with mid mounted implements.
It also comes with a pair of rear wheel weights, PTO and belt pulley.
The tin work is very original and nice and straight. It’s a lightweight tractor and would be easy to transport to shows and working days
