This Force 2000 is quite a rare tractor, built in May 1973 in the Basildon Factory.
 
The Ford 2000 model is less frequently seen than the 3000 and 4000 variants – they are lovely little tractors! 
 
The 2000 uses the same 3-cylinder engine as its larger counterparts, but with slightly lower displacement, producing around 39hp.
 
This particular tractor features the 8-speed transmission. 
 
It has been restored in the past; however its full history is unknown.
 
We have just checked it over, it’s a cracking example. It runs very well and is quite lively, the engine runs well and pull well too.
 
All the lights are correct and are working too.
 
The brakes are perfect and pull the tractor up well from speed.
 
The hydraulics and PTO are all working correctly and the tractor would be ready for work or play.
 
The tin work is all straight and tidy, the paint is good throughout, however as seen in the pictures, there is some paint flaking from the wheels - an easy job to tidy up.
 
There is no V5 for this tractor, but this could be easily registered through a club should you wish to do so.
