Ford 333
Tamar Vintage Tractors - Ford 333
*Now Sold*
We are delighted to present this incredibly rare Ford 333 which has covered just 300 hours from new!
Based on the Ford 3600, this highways tractor would have been produced for use by the council and the allocation of a Devon registration number would suggest it worked for the Devon County Council.
This can only be described as an incredibly rare ‘time-capsule’, a printed sticker under the windscreen records a service at 35 hours, carried out in June 1982. Under the bonnet, a handwritten service record further documents the easy working life of this tractor.
The Lambourne Cab is in excellent condition for its age. The lining is intact, and all the glass is complete. The paintwork has aged nicely, there is some noticeable surface rust on the bonnet from being parked up.
As to be expected from a tractor with such low hours, it starts instantly and pulls well on the road. Understandably, the tyres remain in very good condition too!
This is a real rare find and would make a great addition to a collection or a lovely road run tractor.
