This Fordson Major has been used on a smallholding in recent years, where it has been very well cared for and maintained.
 
This tractor is straight and presentable, with no signs of rot in the wings or nose cone. It has benefited from some reasonable paintwork in the past and holds a nice shine.
 
It starts, runs and drives very well on the road with little smoke. It has been well maintained throughout its working life, with the steering recently attended to.
 
The hydraulics and brakes are all working well, and it has been fitted with new tyres all-round.
 
It’s also fitted with a rare pre-set depth control linkage on the hydraulics, this was a period aftermarket accessory which allows the hydraulics to be set at a pre-determined height to which they will return when lowered
 
This tractor will come with a current V5, ready for work or play.
