This really is a genuine example of this iconic 1980’s tractor.
 
The Massey 2640 is fitted with a 120hp Perkins 6 cylinder engine, which sounds terrific and more importantly, offers plenty of power! It features the 16-speed transmission which all appears to be working as it should. 
 
This tractor also benefits from power steering, which is nice and light and displays an impressive steering lock. 
 
It remains in excellent condition for its age - the cab is free from rust, the doors are in excellent condition and it is fitted with a pair of new rear tyres. 
 
The rear linkage doesn’t show much wear and features a pick hitch and 2 double acting spool valves.
 
The clock is working and shows just over 5500 hours which appears to be genuine.
