For Sale at Tamar Vintage Tractors - 1938 Massey Harris 25
This beautifully presented, original tractor was the latest version of the Massey Harris 25 with its updated styling it became known as a ‘Styled Tractor’ with only around a 1000 made.
The Massey Harris Model 25 made its debut in late 1932 as an updated version of the Wallis 20/30. Wallis having been brought out by Massey Harris. It was more powerful due to an increase in engine RPM from 1050 to 1200, for a 26/41 hp rating.
This tractor starts easily and runs very well; the manifold is in excellent condition and is not cracked nor is the engine block; it holds good oil pressure, the clutch is nice and sharp and all the gears engage nicely as the should.
It is currently sat on Lug Wheels, but also included is a set of extension steel wheels.
** By separate negotiation, a full set of French and Hecht wheels can be supplied if you wished to put the tractor on rubber wheels **
