The Nuffield Universal range was first produced in 1948 and launched at the Smithfield Show. It was powered by a 'Side Valve Morris' Commercial Petrol TVO engine, producing around 42Hp.
 
This is a genuine example, standing in its original working clothes, the tin work is in excellent shape and very sound throughout. 
 
The tyres are also in very good condition.
 
This Nuffield runs very well, with around 60PSI of oil pressure. It drives nicely with very efficient brakes.
 
The carburettor has recently been overhauled along with the fuel taps.
 
The correct period weight block is fitted to the front. The manufactures badges and serial plates are also still displayed on this tractor.
