Porsche Allgaier A111
Tamar Vintage Tractors - Porsche Allgaier A111
*Now Sold*
Renowned for his development of sports cars, Ferdinand Porsche also played a lesser-known, yet significant role in the motorisation of agriculture. Commencing with the introduction of the ‘Daimler Horse’ in 1914. Despite successful sales figures, tractor production ceased in 1963 due to the success of strong competition in the market.
Understandably these Porsche tractors are now rare and highly prized by collectors.
Produced in 1956, this classic Porsche can be identified as one of the rarer models, with an extended bonnet and is comparable to the later Porsche Junior model.
Fitted with a single-cylinder, air-cooled, Porsche Diesel engine and benefiting from an electric start, this tractor runs and drives very well.
It is fitted with a PTO and hydraulics and has a total of 8 gears – 4 forward and 4 reverse.
The tinwork is in excellent condition throughout. The paintwork is best described as average condition but, in our opinion, this could easily be improved to do justice to this very special little tractor.
Includes current V5.
